DIY Oil Catch Tank with Petrol Filter

A very simple DIY for people with light wallet. :p If u can't afford to get an proper OCT(Oil Catch Tank), then this DIY will be suitable for you. Maintenance will be easy, just replace the petrol filter when the oil inside is almost full.

An OCT will catch the oil vapour and reduce the amount of oil vapour going into the combustion chamber. Therefore your engine runs cleaner without the engine oil vapour.

For this DIY, i also modified the breather hose between the cam cover and the air filter intake hose with an air breather to prevent oil vapour going into the TB(throttle body).

Materials needed - You will need 4ft of fuel hose for this DIY 800x600	Hose connection and the cross section view of the petrol filter 800x600	First, we locate the PCV hose. Remove it. 800x600
Find the possible mounting area. I chose the left one bcos easier to tie and to monitor the oil level 800x600	OCT in place. Hoses tied with cable ties. 800x600	OCT in place. Hoses tied with cable ties. Done with OCT. 800x600
Locate breather hose. Remove it. 800x600	Air breather n fuel hose 800x600	Stuff the hose into the breather. 800x600
Fuel hose and M8 stopper bolt. 800x600	Done.. The breather hose fit onto the cam cover and block the rampipe hose. 800x600	Engine Oil caught after a week. 800x600
Engine oil caught after 2 months. 1024x768	Replaced with a new petrol filter while draining the old one to re-use. 1024x768
