DIY Replace Front Door Power Window Motor & Project Dynamatt

I bought 2 pieces of Dynamatt and have been keeping them for a few weeks b4 i managed to find time to install them... Since the power windows' motors are getting weaker.. I think its a one-shot job la... enjoy...

Results after dynamatt-ing.... wow!! midbass improved so much!! my midbass can work almost like a subwoofer!!

We need to remove the rainsheet. Remove the 5 screws...

Rainsheet removed.. Did you notice the bitumen strips?? There are some rainsheet black sticky stuff too..

Put down the window glass until the screw position same as the hole as in picture... Remove them to release the glass..

Remove the glass from the door follow the path in ordered numbers...

Place it somewhere safe. I place it on my car roof on a piece of Insulflex.

Now we remove the entire power window bracket and motor construction. Remove those 10mm bolts as in circles.

Motor replaced.. Simple job. U may need to change the rubber bush as well.. Sorry, I forgot to take picture when it is dismantled.. :p

Once done.. project dynamatt begins.. Lots of holes need to cut for mounting screws and holes.. This is completed right door.

The actual size of dynamatt... Was trying to soften it with the sunlight.. but i find it easier to peel off the brown paper without soften it.. I used hot air gun to soften it after i fully stick it on the door...

This is my idea to protect the midbass speakers from getting in contact with rain water. I think this will reduce the bass a little... We'll see how it goes...
