DIY Cleaning + Re-Oiling K&N Air FIlter

Normally most ppl send their performance air filters to speedworks for cleaning for RM8.40 or just buy a K&N air filter cleaning kit n re-oiling kit at about RM70 and RM40 each. Well.. i found out that Brothers in Kelana Jaya is selling the KW air filter Cleaning n ReOil kit for just RM18.50. So now i can DIY it at a lower cost already. No more driving to speedworks just to get the air filter cleaned. Saves my time too.

Spray the cleaning fluid onto the filter until it is fully covered with it. Let it soak for 15-20mins 640x480	Use hose water to rinse it, from the clean side to the dirty side. Plenty of water. 640x480	Let it stand at this position for draining the water after rinsing it. 640x480
Water slowly draining, you will be amazed by the amount of water it can hold. Let it dry under a fan. 640x480	Filter element is dried. Time to re-oil. 640x480	Re-oil following the oiling path for both sides evenly. Let the oil absorb into the filter element for about 15-20mins. 640x480
