My car has been getting weird noises on the front end whenever I go over uneven roads. There's squeaking, rattling, and even knocking sound. Checking back the maintenance record, I found out that my front lower arms were still the factory fitted ones and has been used for close to 9 years. Later I also found out that one of the ball joint has freeplay already, which explains the knocking sound. Time to get new ones.
So this is a good chance to upgrade the rubber bushes with something much better. The SuperPro PU bushings. So I got a pair of OEM replacement arms and sent to the machinery shop to remove the rubber bush to insert the new PU bushes.
After the installation, my suspension feels much more solid and most of the weird noises disappeared. Enjoy the pics. |
