As usual, place the car on jack stands as we need to remove the bumper. 800x600 |
Get the tools to remove the grill and bumper. Clear the floor area below the car. 800x600 |
Locate the plastic clips of the grill. Use a flat head screwdriver to push down the clips. 800x600 |
Pull the grill backwards. The plastic clips will be sticking on the car. Remove them fom the car and fix them back to the grill. 800x600 |
Clips fixed back in position. The grill now can be snapped back in place later after the DIY job. 800x600 |
Remove the side bumper light so that the bumper can slide out easily. 800x600 |
Remove the mounting bolts and screws of the bumper and slide out the bumper. 800x600 |
Measure the bumper hole for cutting. 800x600 |
Cut the bumper with a hacksaw blade. 800x600 |
This will be the position of the driving light. OK the lgiht fits the hole. Good. Now we can drill holes for mountings. 800x600 |
Relay wiring for drawing current directly from the battery. The trigger power will be drawn from the small light. 800x600 |
Ground connection for the left light. 800x600 |
HID ballasts in position. Can you spot them? Fix everything back in position. 800x600 |
